I am committed to fighting for:
Cut Taxes, Fees, and Cost of Living
Dan Cox will reverse the added, crushing fees that have been handed to us during this current administration. He plans to reduce the corporate and income tax rate to 4.9%. He will cut taxes by being present in Annapolis and being your voice in the statehouse. This is a simple, but highly effective method for passing legislation quickly that benefits all Marylanders. Dan Cox will help reduce the cost of living by providing resources to business owners and incentives to young people so that business owners will have the freedom to make more and hire more employees; so that groceries and electric bills come down, and so that retirees can stay in Maryland without being taxed out of their homes.
Fix the Energy Crisis
Dan Cox will immediately bring power plants back online so that Marylanders are not paying the bill to bring electricity from PA and VA. He will pursue clean energy methods such as SMRs and LNGs, while preserving our farmlands and a clean Bay.
Build the Key Bridge Now
Dan Cox will use emergency order to begin the build for the Key Bridge immediately. He will also take swift action to ensure that all of our bridges and roads are functioning safely and efficiently.
Fully Fund the DDA
Dan Cox will restore the funding that was removed from the DDA budget and ensure that every penny is actually going to the pockets of the intended recipients. He will ensure that the DDA community has a place at the table and that their voice is heard and needs met.
Fight for Premier Education in Maryland Schools
A Dan Cox administration will prioritize ensuring that our schools are fully funded, that our teachers have the resources they need, and that every dollar is going straight to the classrooms and our children's education. Maryland children will be given an equal opportunity to excel and be named among the best students in the nation.
No Data Centers on Maryland Soil
Dan Cox will protect Maryland farmland, waterways, and communities by ordering a moratorium on all data centers. Maryland can be prosperous and keep up with technology without harming the communities that make our state so beautiful.
No Flock Surveillance
Dan Cox believes firmly in personal privacy for all individuals and will stop the rapid implementation of Flock surveillance. Flock cameras are not Constitutional policing; they are illegal stalking which have already caused so many innocent individuals to be prosecuted for crimes they never committed. Dan Cox will support lawful policing and ensure that our law enforcement officers have the accountability and resources they need for ensuring safe communities.
